    Default X axis vibration

Hi. I have the Excitech E3-1325D. All-of-a-sudden, there is a low vibration/rumbling when moving the X-axis.
This X-axis has 2 drives X and X1. Any ideas on the cause?
Microstep adjustment? Anyone know this procedure?

    thanks...........dd

update: while doing a small cut the machine shut down with error Servodrive X1 error
also X1 position is 0.3mm different from X.

Check the bearings on that axis. Servo drive error could be caused by too much current due to the bearing not working correctly. You might have to disengage the drive motors and see if the axis moves easily, if it is rough that is the problem.

hi Russ. yes the x axis glides easily.
However, in the process of checking the bearings, i found a loose electrical connector.
    then VOILA! success.

thanks dude, that did the trick!
my boss was blaming me, now we are back in production.....dd
