Just got 2 Exitech machines, might sell
Hi, I work for a custom ski manufacturer in Colorado. We just got 2 Exitech machines from a ski manufacturer in China but are not quite sure if we want or need to keep them & are trying to understand the value of the machines in case we want to sell them. The machines are Exitech 1325a, they each have 4 spindle routers. I am wondering if there may be anyone on the forum who could give us a ballpark estimate of the value if I were to post some photos & more info.
Many thanks, Cormac.

Depending on what the spindles are, my guess is 9-15k new, $US (I'm in Canada), deprecate according to condition, and know that it's probably not too common of a configuration.

Sounds like the generic 1300x2500mm machines sell at $4000-4500 single spindles so think other guesstimate a little high.

If they each have 4 spindles, you may have some luck with companies doing turning work, as these machines are commonly used for newel posts and balusters.
Door companies would also use them for carved door inserts.

My estimate was for a cheap servo system, DSP controller, steppers and mach3 could be less, I agree but a commercial machine is probably better that the $5000 machines with extra spindles.
