Hi Steve,
Just found your post, did you fix the fault? I have a Excitech 1325 with the same fault. My machine is a 2012 model. Would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks, Mark
Hi there, sorry about the typo in the heading, I can't change it...
I have an 1212-120 machine, and just today, the magnetic switches that stop the machine from crashing into -X and the Z stop + have seemed to have disappeared.
They aren't "seeing" the metal tabs in other words, and the machine will keep trying to + the Z axis and it's horrible to hear. and the X will and will hit the end of the gantry, so I cant even Home the machine right now.
Can any one think of the reason for this? Is it in the machine or in the pendant? I'm assuming the machine because the stops, I would have thought, would be cut out switches, right?
EDIT* The little red LED on top of the Z sw/ illuminates as normal, but the Z+ will keep going instead of stopping.
Anyway, can someone help? Anyone!
Cheers
Steve
