Post setting material to bottom of plate

I am trying to make a constant dado using Enroute 6 Pro. My need is to make a dado on two cabinet parts and cut shelves to fit between. I have set up the plate thickness to the material which is .77", and I want the dado to be .375" so when I cut my cross pieces to be .75" shorter than the overall of the cabinet. So I would subtract .375" from .77" getting a depth of cut to .395". I have define plate to the size of the material .77" and clicked button Surface to bottom of plate. All works fine till I have to reboot machine the next day to continue cutting parts. Any ideals on why this is happening?

That's more than likely a machine issue and not an Enroute issue. What is happening when you reboot? Anytime I restart/reboot my machine (Multicam) I have to reset the machine surface.
