    Default Engraving Stainless Steel?

I've got an old CAMM-3 PNC-2700E that was given to me for free. I would like to engrave some stainless steel without destroying bits all day long (it is to my understanding that 316 stainless is hard to work with as it destroys bits all day long). The engraver works ok but I'm not really sure of the speeds and feeds for stainless, I'm using an 11/64" x 6.5" long .030" quarter round SS bit with a 60° angle on it to engrave text (4 characters) an inch tall. It needs to be engraved to a depth of .015" for paint filling and I was hoping to get about 4 an hour done but I don't want to push the bit to hard because it's $50/pc if I break it. Any thoughts on optimal speeds, feeds and depth per pass for this? Is 4 an hour a ridiculous goal?

Pic attached to show the bit I'm using.
