There is software that will convert various image formats to G-code, this is not really a conventional CAM function.. I have PixelCNC, it works and is cheap, but is a bit clunky. https://deftware.itch.io/pixelcnc

A friend of mine has a stone shop and I was wondering if anyone could help me with creating a program to engrave a photo onto a stone slab?
Hes not very good with cam, neither am I.
He has a 4 axis router
any help would be much apricated

LinuxCNC will convert an image to Gcode and its free.Be warned that images of any size will take quite a time to machine as fine details require small tools and a lot of passes at close intervals.
