Houston, TX USA: CAD/CAM Design and CNC Router Operation - 50K to 150K / Year
As our company has continued to grow, we need to continue to develop new products and continue producing products we already have designed using our in-house CNC routing hardware. This position puts you completely in charge of our US CNC production facility. This position includes the following job functions:
Designing new products using CoroPlast, HDPE, ABS, PP, Expanded PVC and others
Researching competitive products already on the market and improving upon designs
Developing completely new products based on customer feedback and your own ideas
Production of products using our in-house 4'x8' CNC machines
Triple head
Mach3
Clean-up and delivery of products from our production facility to our shipping warehouse
Coordination of product production with our warehouse manager to ensure sufficient stock is on hand at all times
Coordination of custom product development and/or production with our sales staff for one-off custom products
Position is located in far north Houston, TX off I-45 in Spring, TX
This position is salary + bonus with a minimum 40 hour week

Possible expansion into new markets and materials including metal cut and welded assemblies.
Requirements
The person we are looking for has these qualities:
Self-starter
Able to work with little or no direction
Highly focused on efficiency
Ability to understand our customer needs for product development
Experience with CNC production
CAD / CAM experience
We currently use vCarve Pro for CAD/CAM but would consider switching to another application if it makes sense
We use Mach3 for machine control but would always consider other control software if there is more value
