    Default Emcoturn 120 Retrfit

Hello everyone, I have a chance to buy an Emco 120p. The asking price is $1500. The machine is in like new condition (still has protective grease on everything) and all the parts are there.

Being that it's an Emco, it needs 390 volts. It does not have the transformer to convert to 220 volts.

I would like to use Mach3 and update the electronics. Is the asking price to much for a machine that will be retrofitted ???? I'm really interested due to the fact that it's a slant bed.

    thanks

    The price seems reasonable.

Gutting it to put Mach3 on it, seems not so much.

But I'd jump on it, if it were me.

    Cheers

To me it would seam that it is much cheaper and better to just get a Transformer to supply the correct current.
Seams like a shame to gut a machine in that condition.
