    Hi all, do I need a relay in the line from control board to spindel??

    What board? what spindle?
    Here is a link for a G540 to VFD example, often it can be done this way, depending on the nature of the equipment I/O.

    Would have to know what you have spindle Drive Spindle Control Etc. most likely not though, spindles don't normally run direct from a control board

    Also just in the process of checking BOB for using spare stepper outputs for VFD control, i.e. no relay.
