edgecam switch to english dosen't work

Hey guys,
I'am using the edgecam 2022.1 student license for a project at university. Since I am currently on a semester abroad in Hungary, the downloaded version is in Hungarian. However, when I want to switch to english in the starting menu settings, the window does not open and thus I cannot switch the language to english. I tried to reinstall the software multiple times and also tried older versions of edgecam, stil have the same problem. Maybe it has something to do with using windows on bootcamp on my macbook, but I have no idea why this does not work.

Did anyone encounter a similar problem or knows how to solve it?
