    Default Welcome to the new EdgeCAM Users Forum

    Hey All,

    Well we have it! A place for Edgecam users to share ideas and ask questions. I plan to contribute as much as I can (as I learn more about Edgecam).

    So here's a simple "Did You Know This"

    In any box that requires a number, you can type in a math expression.
    Radius = 3/2

    Did you know if you press theControl key & the = key at the same time (Ctrl = ) is will display the results.
    Radius = 1.5

    Well Helix77, share one with us. Anything.

    Here's another one: On the graphics screen. Hold down the wheel on your mouse and move left/right/up/down. It a Pan function.

    I just finished a new training cd for Edgecam.

    In edgecam try the "Help menu" and then "Contents and Index" Search for "hot keys" chose "Hot Key Assignments"
    IMO the help function in edgecam is pretty god. Have been using it for some time for milling

    Most times the help is pretty good until you get the one's that say somehing like.....

    "The Twizzle options changes the approach to a Twizzel style."

    What ever that means... :-)

    So Helix77, who's your reseller? and why did you let your service contract (maintenance ?) expire?

    hey mike, lighting up this board aren't you. i will stop by here more frequently as well.

    I always use the Ctrl+zoom (middle wheel) to quickly zoom into an area quickly. Especially useful when I need to get up on a small chamfer in turning so that my chain is in the correct direction.
