Default MDI & enter key execution

    Hello Tom,
Can the keyboard Enter key be blocked from executing what is in the MDI line? Or maybe after the MDI is executed it then clears out?
I entered an amount in the Jog % box and hit enter key from habit, causing the MDI to execute the last command i entered, which was a rapid movement to X0,Y0.... Almost lost my indicator yesterday

    Thanks,
    Troy

    Hi Troy,

Yikes! I swear we have fixed that like 3 times

    Please check this new patch
    http://dynomotion.com/Software/Patch...KMotionCNC.exe

It has new logic: Ignore Enter Key unless the MDI has focus or Send Button doesn't have default action.

    Hay Tom,
I know you fixed it once before for me (think in version 4.34i) when i had a similar happening. I was on my AUTO screen and hit enter key, which executed what ever was in the MDI line on my MANUAL screen.

All is good now. One thing i believe might be safer, if it does not effect something downstream, would be to only execute an MDI or Cycle Start by on screen buttons or external buttons.

    Thanks again,
    Troy

    Hi Tom,
Think i found another issue. When editing a G code in KMCNC, the enter/return keyboard key does not do anything. As in, it should add a space below a line of G code so user can add another line of code.

    Hi Troy,

Thanks for pointing that out. Please see if this updated patch now allows the Enter Key to work.
