Default CNC 6040 - upgrade to KFLOP

    Well...

    This is my workbench

    The machine

    The plate

    Electronics

Power Supply with Controller and Stepper driver

    The cheap CNC board Controller

Do not take care of ugly look. This is just a experimental prototype.

My target is make PCB board for little production, but the cheap CNC Controller have some problem...

With Mach3 at high speeds (but not so much ...) the controller go to a irreversible loop, moving the axis back and forth in a little loop.

Due of this I had to throw away a lot of PCBs. So I decided to upgrade the board with a KFLOP board.

In this thread i walk through the project, step by step.

    First step:

    Some experiment with KFLOP.

The custom board is for buffering Output, STEP, DIR and ENABLE command, and serial connection RS232 for remote KFLOP control

    Second step:

Make a PowerSupply KFLOP dedicated board.

    The project on CAD:

    Gerber to G-CODE conversion

Some step at Simulator to be sure...

    The final result after engraving:
