Default HUANGYANG VFD HY01-D523B only Power led in display

    Hi ,

Was just cutting out some wingparts for my Klemm 25L.

Had to change material for the next cut.
Suddenly my HUANGYANG VFD HY01-D523B won´t start up the spindle.
Really strange since it has been working for some years now and no changes have been made as fx. wirering ect.ect.

    Spindle is a RattMotor 0.8 KW 220 Volt (GDZ-65f-800)
    VFD is HUANGYANG HY01-D523B

The power led in display lights up, fan is starting and that´s about it.
I´ve disabled the whole VFD to check:
    - capacitors - OK
    - Cable to the key pad (even from main board)- OK

I really don´t know what else to check

Is there anybody out there that can give me a clue or maybe have hade same issue and have a solution???

Keep my fingers crossed that some one can reply :-)

    Thanks in advance

Try the VFD on another motor like a 3 phase one to see if it is the spindle and not the VFD.

    Hi again :-)

Thank you all for your help!

But it seems that I've managed to solve the issue (for now :-) )

When I made my final check of the circuitboards I notised a cold joint on one of the boards.
I resoldered that joint but without the result I wanted :-).

So I resoldered ALL soldering point on the boards and - voilà! The VFD works again :-)

The only negative thing is that I already orderd a new VFD :-(, well at least I will have spareparts if needed :-)

Take care out there and stay healthy!!!

    Best regards to you all

    Kent

Good you where able to fix it, most that have not burnt up the boards can be fixed

I have done the same on a few of these that had not been burnt up, it can sometimes be the smallest connection that is not soldered well
