    Default Software problem

    I have a dynapath delta 50M control but when i turn on the following messages appear

    "Power fail: part program and setup information must be reload"

    And

    "Cycle power to continue. Watchdog timer si tripped"

    Looks like hardware problem caused this problem.

    Watchdog points to hardware problem. Software is generating the message, so software is correct. Check the power supply and if the CPU is seated in the socket well.

    what are the correct values in the power supply?

    ...check the Battery voltage on the SRAM Card....should be above 3.1vdc. Replacement is easy with add-on battery pack because there 3 Pin plug for battery.

    ...to clear the Watchdog Timer you might need the CNC.EXE Floppy reloaded after Battery updating.

    ...Dynapath is still in business, but they will what to sell you a Floppy upgrade $300+CNC exe cost. Call or email them with your Serial Number of the CNC control you have.

    What was the outcome. I got the same message after we replaced the battery. Very frustrating.
