Hope this works for you. Btw, I use BobCad. That file looks terrible in my autoviewer or whatever opens the dxf.

Where did you get the pulley you used for the X axis to replace the plastic gear?

Having a hell of a time finding anything that looks like that besides "gear stock"

    Thanks,
    Andrew

I did make it from gear stock. They come in all sizes and tooth profiles. SDPI.

I just got a set of direct drive mounts for Dyna's. It was from a member here that had an impressive build many years ago. Here is what I got. A link to his build.http://www.grifftek.com/images/dyna2400remec/

That's not for the DM 3000 is it? If so would you mind sharing the cost?

Most likely they will work on all this class of dyna's, 2200, 2400, 2800 & the 3000. He was cleaning out his storage and sold me all of it. 5 mounts, 3 sets of couplers a few steppers. The only limitation I can see is maybe due to the thickness of the mount it will lose some travel due to the enclosure of the lathe. It would be a minimal loss on the lathe and most likely not taking any cuts at max diameter. Unfortunately I think my enclosure I built for the mill years ago might have the same issue. I have no intention of losing any travel on the mill.
