    Default Dyna Mechtronics

How about a 'Dyna Myte' sub board?

Not really sure where to put this category. The original 2200, 2300, 2400, 2800 mills and 3000 series lathes were bench top models but the 4000 and 4400 series at 4500lbs, are definitely not. None of these machines are currently in production, but have a loyal following.
Perhaps under the 'Benchtop Machines' section would be the best choice.

The 1007 is still made, not sure how many are sold, but it still falls within this category.

Dyna Mechtronics do make larger stand alone CNC mills, from the 2016 to the 4322. These don't fall within the bench top guidelines so would most likely be in its own section under 'MetalWorking Machines'. Once again not really sure how many were/are being sold.

And at the same time, what are the chances that posts relating to these machines be moved into this new section? I've seen numerous posts in numerous sections. Knee vertical mills, plasma machines and benchtop machines to name a few.

    Thanks, Timothy

Cool. Even more history than I knew. Not that I know much.

Exactly the reason we need a Dyna Mechtronics section.

    PS. I have two DM4400's

When I first got my 3116 I had a few issues that were loose wires. After I got that fixed it worked fine. Thought I would throw that out in case you just got your mill "installed".

    Line cycle:
    G35 L A N

    L) is the length between holes
    A) is the angle
    N) is the number of holes

To use this you must first set a drill cycle with a G81 or G83.

    G83 X0.000 Y0.000 Z-.250 R.100 Q.05 F2.0

X Y Z) are the coordinates of the hole
    R) is the rapid plane for the start and end of the cycle
    Q) is the step. In this case the drill will retract every .050" and resume until the Z depth is reached.
    F) is the feed rate.

Hope this helps out. All these commands are on the right side of the screen when programing. Hit tab and the cursor will jump to the list and you can scroll through the commands and see the syntax.

I have a DYNA 2400 with the conversational programming. I love it. Has anyone here added the option of Mach 3 along side of the DYNA programming? I would appreciate any help.
