Hello,
Can you please send the DXF file to me and I'll create a video showing how to overcome this.

I imported the drawing to DCAD from a LibreCAD DXF (R12) output. When I defined the contour in DCAD - it seemed happy enough - it allowed me to define the contour and give it a name. Now in DCAM - I am attempting to select this contour as a 'Goround' function and I keep getting the error
Contour "Outline" contains errors which have been corrected. The maximum gap/overlay error was "1.197739 mm". If possible you should use PartMaster CAD to correct these errors at source. Do you wish to continue? (Yes/No buttons).
I click 'Yes' and... it seems to 'recover' and actually find the outline. How do I find these gaps using DCAD?

Well DANG it anyways - I haven't been 'saving' my work a whole lot because:
1) I'm still learning - so repeating activities helps to drive the process into my mind
2) it didn't work so why save it?
So I exercised 'step 1)' above - I repeated what I thought I did - and now, I don't get the error. I'm going to send you the drawing anyways because of my question in the other thread regarding 'bridging'. Hopefully you can help me figure out how to do that?
Thanks for your response - email coming directly to you shortly.

I realize this is a 6 year old post, but I’m struggling with the exact same issue. Did you ever find a fix? Thanks

For anyone who has this problem in the future.
This video shows how to create a machining program from DFX files.

Yes - my solution was to completely dump Dolphin and work with other tools available for free and were much more powerful. Sadly - I paid money for Dolphin and never managed to create anything with it. It looks like they (Dolphin) stepped in to help you. Good luck - I hope it brings you better results than it ever did me.

The problem is not with Dolphin Cad.
99% of the time that issues arise from DXFs, is because the DXFs have mistakes in them. I think any CAD program will have issues, not just Dcad. There's always a catch with free software. Look at what Draftsight did! They got everyone hooked on it, and now they want $150/year for you to keep using it. Partsmaster is still the best bang for the buck, IMO.
