    Default Multicam retrofit journey

Enjoying this retrofit so much i just have to share my experience. Im finally retrofitting my multicam router with some dmm servos, new ballscrews(in the mail),blocks, refurbished spindle and controller. The servos are fitted with the multiturn absolute encoders using batterypacks on the cable.

In the end of the video before i removed the original stepper motor you can see the difference in size, maybe just me but dang dats hawt.

How difficult was mounting the gearbox with this rack and pinion? Did you mount it where the large 9 inch pulley was?

From your video i think you are using a steel angle. Did you add any extra support metal or screws?
