Default Mounting my CNC on a 4 post lift

Like many of us, I am trying to figure out creative ways to reclaim space that the CNC is going to use. One thought has been to mount the CNC (4x8 Avid) onto a standard automotive 4 post lift. I already have one on one side of the garage that works great which brought the idea to mind.

Is there anything that I should consider that would make this a bad idea?

I can tell you that I wouldn't trust it to be rigid enough.

I don't know anything about the Avid's though.

That was my primary concern. Just for reference, this is what I am referring to for the lift.
