Here is a simple BOB for consideration:

Looking for suggestions/input. Board is in eagle 4.11 if you want the files.

I don't really know, but looking at the specs, my guess is that is what they use.

Hello,
I am working on an open source 3-axis controller. Maybe we can collaborate, for example I would be willing to use the same schematic design tools you are for commonality (I am now using ORCAD but am willing to learn a new one).
See the thread:

Let me know what you think,
Greg
Greg I liked your spec, if I can be of any help ask.

I did a little consolidation of the files I have been working on:

Always looking for colaboration and help. It would be really good if there is somebody at the zone that could build a mill file for the 5804 copper board. I also have a schematic, no layout yet or a single channel chopper board, much higher stepper currents, not posted yet.

updated my webpage with the lastest files:

I've taken the L297/298 board as far as I plan to. I can't say I plan on building that board. But I did put some effort into cleaning it up. I think it's good to go. My thought would be to ask the admin here if once we get into the publishing phase of the open source stuff to build a webpage rather than just a downloads area.

Very nice looking Phil. I only took a quick look for now but will review it much closer later.
One question I have is about your breakout board. I didn't see any schematics for that, are there any?
I haven't put them up yet. The BOB in the picture I can't give out, so I did a simple one. I do have an eagle schematic and PCB layout. CNCZONE member gregmary is looking at them now, and hopefully will mature it some more.Originally posted by mvaughn
