Default ISO30 or CAT30? tool holders source

I have a router with a 5 HP HSD spindle that uses what they call ISO 30 tool holders for ER32 collets. I need to know where I can buy those for ER11 collets and also if they are the same as CAT30 tool holders.

    Thanks.

Depends on how much you want to spend per tool holder.

maritool.com seems to have some nice stuff, much cheaper than I've seen on other sites and looking at the ER-16 & ER-20 straight shank collet chucks I bought, the quality is great.
    They are also on eBay.

    Very dumb and basic question.

What's the point of tool holders? Are these to help facilitate quick-changes?

What's the difference of using your router's collet instead of those?

There is no collet. The toolholder fit's into the spindle. They're usually used with ATC's or fir pushbutton tool changes.

Do you mind explaining what ATC is?

So can a push-button tool holder be fitted to any router? (Bosch, Makita, Hitachi ect...)

an ATC is an automatic tool changer. makes changing tool in seconds instead of minutes. Makes using your CNC much more enjoyable.
