    Question Drag Chain Size Recommendations

I made quick calc for drag chain size/ fill. The math says a 25x25mm would work cables stacked, seems tight. Or a 50mm with cables side by side.

What size drag chains are you using in your builds, X , Y, and Z axis assuming stepper motors?

Regardless of what size you will need, I would prefer a shallower cross section over a square one to reduce the delta of ID to OD to have less cable rubbing.

Also, be aware of some cheap Chinese ones. I have some of those on the machine I am building. They are like $10 for 3' and they are structurally fine. But they won't lay flat and it is a PIA to modify each link so that they do.
