    hi all its my first time to build the cnc some part already bought if there any suggestion for improvement please tell me thanks here list of the part with the cost and some of the picture


    1.JMC SERVO 20BIT 400Watt

    Power: 400W
    Speed: (Rated/Max) 3000/5000rpm
    Price : 190 USD EACH WITH THE DRIVER

    2.TBI OFU BALL SCREW 2005 C5 GROUND WITH C5 BALL SCREW SUPPORT ANGULAR BEARING

    970mm Double Nut Ground C5(OFU new version compare to DFU)
    Price: 210 USD each For 1 meter Length

    Access to your anti-backlash nut is easy, but I'd be concerned about that thin little piece of aluminum transferring motion from the screw to the Z axis carriage. Probably ok for most operations I guess.

    haha yeah im still thinking about nut holder design maybe i should do V shape

    I would think a V shape would work better.

    ok for my concern now is the spindle and y axis block which is far do i need to make it more near to spindle i would lost around 100mm working dimension for it

    At those price i relly would like to know where you are sourcing your aluminum extrusion

    be too good to be true here in the US.

    I think one point of concern could be the side-to-side
    movement of the gantry held in place. Even though
    it has 10 bolts per side at the gantry, the bottom is
    (structurally speaking) not a 'fixed end'. It relies on
    the rigidity of the side plates and becomes a cantilever.

    Moving the linear rail to the top slot would shorten
    that cantilever. (Suggestion 1)

    Adding another rail to the bottom slot would make
    it a (vertical) beam with two somewhat fixed ends.
    (Suggestion 2)

    75mm x 150mm x 600mm extrusion is 100$cad = 75$ usd here in canada,
