    Thanks Mactec.
I wired everything up and seems that I am unable to control the speed from uccnc.
The bob is emiting variable voltage to vI up to 10v when i increase or decrease the speed on uccnc. The 10v on the vfd is giving 10v constant.
I can turn on and off the spindle from uccnc as well
    Pd001 & 2 are set to 1
    What could i troubleshoot?

Do you have the jumper set correctly for remote control?

The 10V on the VFD is just a 10V supply and you don't use it unless it is need for a PWM supply so that is normal it will be how you have wired the 0-10v out from the Breakout Board

This needs to be connected to the VI and ACM make sure they are connected correctly The J1 Jumper needs to be on 1-2 pins

I will add a relay between the FOR signal and wire it to my e-stop so I leave the FA FB FC relay for on/off the water pump.
I will check the jumper position and report back
Thanks for your help. Spindle is almost up and running!

I moved the jumper and now I am able to control the speed from uccnc however not accurately. I set the speed at 17k on uccnc and vfd when to the max 24k. I lower the speed to 1k on uccn and spindle when down to 8-9k. Would this be a setting on the vfd i would need to adjust?

My Hitachi takes a either a 0-10 vdc signal or a PWM signal whichever you select in the parameters. At 10 vdc it runs the drive at the maximum speed you have programmed in. You never want the drive below a certain speed or frequency as it will let the smoke out of the spindle. I have mine set to 120-130 Hz I forget but the speed of the motor never goes below 9,000 rpm unless of course its turned off.

BTW most drives come with documentation, what does yours tell you about where to program the min and max frequency?

Correct the minimum speed is related to the Parameters set 120Hz is 7200 RPM there is not much in the VFD to adjust the speed ratio this is normally the control software that you have to change

So the PWM output 0-10v you need to check this with your meter to see if it relates to the speed 12,000 should be 5v 24,000 10v

Pd070 is set to 0 to work with the 10v.

In UCCNC, what are your PWM Min and Max settings, and Min and Max Velocities (RPM)?

If you set the spindle to 12,000, what voltage are you getting?
