Default Acceptable Runout for Hitachi Router

I'm running an Hitachi M12VC on my router and I measured a 0.04mm (0.0016) runout in the taper where I put the collet.

Since my bearing needed to be changed, I did changed it thinking that this might be the cause of the runout but it is the same after bearings change.

As I'm mostly working with wood, 0.0016 isn't much but I'm wondering what problems I might run into with it.

    Thanks

That is common on a router. Even the Chinese Spindles have a run out around .001, but they can run all day long, so are more commercial than a Hitachi router. I used that same router for about 3 years, changed the bearings twice as it wear out due to the heavy use. In wood you will never notice that small amount of runout.

If you ever did have an issue with run out, say doing something it aluminum, you could always try a single flute cutter. In the end you will have probl me with wear if the rub out is close to your feed per tooth. You can end up with a significant nation where one edge of a multifoutecutter doesn’t cut at all.

Man I need to turn off iPhone auto correct.

How it managed to change runout to rub out is beyond me.
