Hi. I recently built the mpcnc for light wood carvings, and also to 3d print with. I'm posting here to get some advice on how to create an additional axis at the spindle, and how to build a 2 foot rotary table. These will be driven by stepper motors, and I'm looking to use a tracking technique with gt2 belts. I imagine a open belt with it's ends clamped or fitted into a slot in the table, then routed over the stepper gear. This is very similar to how the mpcnc works, only now it would not be linear. I realize that this will limit the rotary table to less than 360°, unless I can overlap the belts to just past getting it to 360°. If anyone knows of examples on how I could accomplish this, I would be very greatful.
