No, that's little more than a toy.
Imo, a small router like this would be much better:

You really want something like this:

I am building a 3x6 cnc router from cnc router parts and I am looking at putting a cheap spindle on it from eBay. It is almost cheaper than buying a router plus it has very good variable speed. I can't afford a big expensive spindle. Would it be a good idea to put this spindle on my cnc machine? https://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-500W-Sp...c+spindle.TRS0

No, it would not be a good idea. To start with, it is NOT a brushless spindle, it's a brushed DC motor with a crappy controller.
I am personally very happy with this 400W brushless motor:

But I have a small plastic 7" by 10" router. For a 3' x 6' router this "spindle" would be a joke.
3x6 what (meters, feet , centimeters, inches, whatever)
It makes a difference because a small router doing engraving doesn't need the same sort fo spindle that a large router doing timber frame panels does.
I wouldn't suggest if. One of the big problems with these sorts of spindles is that he "ER" collet nose is pressed on. That "can" be the cause of run out that would impact uses as a precision engraving spindle. Otherwise 500 watts is not a lot of power for more general purpose routing needs. Also the security of a collet nose fastended to the motor spindle doesn't inspire me.from cnc router parts and I am looking at putting a cheap spindle on it from eBay. I have to agree with the others here for he low end get a small router and be prepared to upgrade at a later date. Well not too small or you will be limited by power again. Routers can be less than ideal but houw quickly it self destructs is a function of how you use them. Mind you I'm thinking aobut a 3 x 6 foot router here. If you are talking about a small engraving router running very small tooling it can pay to invest in a real spindle up front.
