    That sounds like a challenging project. Did you consider how to program this machine? Doing 4-axis rotary work is already tricky and only few affordable CAM software packages around. I am not sure there is something for 5 axes (or 6 if you include the indexer table?) that a normal person can pay. Maybe RhinoCam but even that is $10k.

    Hmmm. Well, I was thinking Linux CNC can handle up to 9 axes, but then I'm not sure about something to actually generate the G-Code....

    Guess I might have to do some manual g-code editing.
