    on a real note:
It’s the first real thing coming out of my A4. The hard part of the math for the scanning is "solved" till I get it up and running. Then I will start a new thread on it, the table is 8" diameter and is being designed to do 10" diameter x 12" cylinder of mass with a DPI of 2400+. Duel Cameras with different colored low powered lasers for trig in parallel image comparison. I got about 2000 lines of code done for it should coming in around 6000-10000+- with full interface face options, and free.

    Default At it again

Well, I torn my waders, so no fishing this weekend. Its ok tho because I got some work done on the CNC.

First up the parallel port plastic was just broken, other than cosmetic damage no harm. Which is good news.

So I cleaned up the rest of the wire on it and finalized it for now. I need to add limits and an e-stop later on in life, but it is good for now.

Next I mounted my router, super easy process. here are a couple of photos.

and a close up of the new router:

Now I just need to dig out the monitor, mouse and keyboard. And setup a VNC connection on the box so i can just remote it to control it. without a keyboard, mouse and monitor needed. Let me know if you guys want to see how that is done and I can add to this.

Just realized I forgot to mention I put it on wheels today since I have limited space and it needs to be put away after use. Simply wheels make it easier to move it around

no i didn't sweep before testing I just wanted to play.

It'll run much better and faster once you figure out ideal
    settings in EMC2. I use Mach3, so I don't know EMC2 well
enough to know what to recommend....but I did once have
it running as smooth as Mach3.

    Looks Great!!!

i think mainly my speeds are slow. Grabbing some wood tomorrow for that project i emailed you and the bits are on order so this coming weekend I hope to tweak the speeds a bit to get that made.

There was a thread was while back on using it to align your work pieces and finding your X and Y zero.
