Heidenhain TNC 426 CF

[PS85]

I have a Heidenhain TNC 426 CF CNC machine. It is giving the error below:

HEIDENHAIN OPERATING SYSTEM-FATAL ERROR MESSAGE
SUN JAN 10 07:00:11 2021
EXCEPTION-TASK NOT INSTALLED
PC=004CC052
ACTIVE TASK =T_HAUPT

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

The machine is a Vansdorf TOS WHN110.

Hi

This might be a problem with your hard disk- there is a process for installing and re-initializing the hard disk for the TNC426 available in their service manual (available on the heidenhain website)

You would need a new 2.5gb IDE Hard disk (SSD works better in my opinion) and after reinstalling the TNC system you can reload your parameter and PLC backups
