Well yes I have done a Aciera F3 rebuild and conversion cnc controller using Mach 3. I fitted Thompson ballscrew which cost me £1500 for the three ball screws, some 20 years ago. All modification are fully reversable and include a comple new head mount for a high speed spindle 24000 rpm. Change of job for the past 15 years has restricted the amount of use and time able to devote to my hobby. Now reaching 62 and looking to retire sometime in the near future , I’ve re kindled my passion again on all things Cnc, router systems I’ve build and now have a Haas Super minimill.
