Deckel maho 80U (1999) millplus E252 error

I have got this E252 alarm (tool in toolchangerarm).
Its not possible to do a toolchange with M6, but if i do a M66 (manual change) and then a M6 directly after the ATC will work once.
Any suggestions to fix this?
I have tried the I/O recovery of toolchanger but too no help.

Hi, this just says there is a tool in the tool gripper, depending on the version of machine, you may have a proximity switch on the gripper giving you an incorrect status. Check and see if there are any proximity switches on the tool changer monitoring the grippers and let me know.

Please, have you debug alarm E252 ?
I m from Romania and I have the same problem like you.
In fact after parameter loose , I reload all parameters and after restarting when I set M 6 or M66 I have E252 (tool already in gripper) but my DMU50V dont have gripper tool changer !!!

I am also getting this error E252 tool in toolgripper alarm ( DMU 60T - Millplus 1999 model)
After loading parameters & BIOS in battery problem.
No sensor in tool gripper. Checked all PLC IOs , its ok.
I think somewhere system memory, gripper has to be reset.
Please guide for this problem.

I managed to solve the E252 error.

I turned the machine on and press delete.
Then heidenhain numeric service menu appeared.
From there i selected 6. Load default machine constants and clear all memories.
After I needed to import all machine parameters.
