    Hello everybody
I inserted the tool holder in a twisted position by accident and clamped it (FP3A). Now I have the problem that I can’t get the holder out of the machine anymore.
I can turn it, move it up and down, clamp and loose it (you can hear the hydraulic system) but the tool holder itself can not be loosened/clamped.
    Can anybody help me?

    Best regards Peter

    Hello Peter
I had exactly the same problem with my FP4AT a couple of years ago. I guess that the slot nut touched the smaller nut of the tool holder and the two became wedged together. Loosen the tool with the hydraulics and unscrew and remove the slot nut. Then clamp the tool in again and loosen it. The tool holder should now be removable form the spindle.

Now it might happen that several clamping claws fell out of the die clamp:

-loosen grub screw in the centre if the die clamp
    - unscrew and remove die clamp with special tools
    - mount the 4 clamping claws with the circular spring
    - Screw in die clamp- be aware of the thread depth!
    -tighten grub screw.

    Good luck
    Stefan
