can you post the ladder file?
Vertical 5025 machining center
forgot I had to change spindle location for tool change after changing spindle bearings
of course it faulted because keys not lined up
I thought I did everything right to get out of it but still get alarm
tool arm appears put back, all looks good but get alarm, x and y move but can't move z axis . Z can not be referenced
Any help to clear the alarm would be appreciated.
I did read a bulletin about it and it said change Keep Relay K12-B4 parameter 1 to 0 but mine is zero if I am looking in the correct spot.
Thanks

I found the I/O softkey (I assume that is what you wanted) and was able to save to my PCMCIA card but no idea how to post it here or even read it on my PC since its .000 extension.
hi,
in maintenance mode you can move though the cycle step by step .
M39 in the MDI
Move handle to jog
Go around back and index carousel until it stops moving
Go back around front
M19
M41
M40
"copied text from internet" but i can take a photo from my manual
then if all is well the machine makes 1 tool cycle

Please note: on some machines this keep relay is K12.4, others it is K64.4
This relay can only correct the issue if the CAHP.M (changer arm home position. monitor) is a 1 as well as THOMEI.M (tool home indicator. monitor) being a 1 if it is present.
As these are LADDER issues....they are changeable at any time by alteration or upload of a ladder change. (these potential solutions are not "set in stone" and can be changed to something different)
DO NOT RANDOMLY change Keep Relays without fully understanding what it will do, or you could cause permanent damage to your machine.

No
M39 puts the toolchanger in maintenance mode if you have problems.
with the buttons of the toolcarrosel you can run forward and back trough the cycle .
the keeprelay is for telling the machine it is on the home position

Ah ha, "until it stops moving" . I used the M39 several times in the past vut only to move the arm out of the way. And yes when I tried to resolve this issue, the carousel moved so I stopped and figured it was not working. I needed to rotate carousel a full rotation and then it would stop?
Yes I agree. I looked through the ladder and figured out which latch was needed to clear the fault. I have a little experience with ladders from my G&L repair days 30 years ago lol. It just took a bit to search and find because I don't know how Fanuc works.
Changer arm was home but can I search for the CAHP.M ? Or better yet, how can I search for it?
