Default Need help regarding steady rest, XLM480

The machine spindle doesnt rotate with steady rest in clamped position. All pressures are normal. Even of the rrst is moved away from workpiece n clapmed(without the piece), the spindle takes a jerk but doesn't rotate/operate.
Note: there's no warning/error message shown.

What is the machine's serial number? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)
What is the Electrical Hardware version? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)

    What is the ladder version?
    Press the <SYSTEM> hard key
Press the <PMC> softkey (depending on Fanuc model)
Press the <PMCPRM> or <PMCCONFIG> (depending on Fanuc model)
    Press the <TITLE> softkey
There is a field: PROGRAM DRAWING NUMBER (it is in the middle of the page)
It contains a LONG alphanumeric sequence, separated by a comma or colon...and then another alphanumeric sequence
I need the WHOLE code...everything in that field.

From this information, I can see why the machine does anything and everything related to IO

...And I assume that you meant that the MAIN SPINDLE doesn't turn...(and not the Milling Spindle)

Are you trying to rotate the chuck without any stock in it?
If yes, do you have the proximity switches for chuck open and over-stroke held on or off with the keep relay?

Do you have Polygon Mode on?

Is the Q-setter seen as up? ...and not down? ...and none of the read heads are activated?

Is the Steady rest body clam/unclamp confirm reading correctly?

SYMBOL: SRBU.M (Might be address of: X12.1)

The closest ladder I could find to yours was P24MDC08 so addresses can be different, but symbols are usually the same.
