    Default nm410 / 3016ld forever in 'warmup'

    Hi,

left machine off for 9 days or so, now its forever in the 7 day warm up. It says "KM10 AUX WARMING UP" in the PMC ladder status (at the top of the screen in the PMC ladder). So I looked up all the warming up logic in the ladder (at least I think all of it anways), its looking for M101 to complete, but there isn't any M101 to complete (M101 doesn't do anything)… ideas ? There isn't any mention of M101 I can find in the manual and I've been running the machine since I got it so maybe never got into this state. I also tried just running a few 'warmup' programs for 20-30 mins but this hasn't changed anything.

    Thanks

Our Applications Manager says that the attached might help.

He thinks that something happened to your Macro programs for Spindle warm-up

    Review the attached.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've operated as per the .PDF but when I do a "S8000; M102;" I just get the machine sitting there waiting with *FIN* displayed... same for M101. THere appears to be nothing happeneing when either is called... I've tried also running the machine at 2000rpm for 30 minuted to try and clear the flag, no dice. What address/macro is M101 natively calling ? I can go about filling it in... ? THanks. Also worth noting: I have M101 in my ladder but not M102.. but M101 I cant seem to get 'set' to on, its address is R6012.1. If I can get that set to "on", seems like the warm up process would complete (according to the ladder). I figure that gets done by the M101 built in macro.. but I all I can find on the machine is my own warm up routine (stored in 9020 so as to be called by M501).

Program O9020 is called by what ever number is in Parameter 6080. (In the form of an M-code)

i.e. if 6080 is 101, then the first time the program sees an M101...It is not an actual "M101"...It is a Macro Call using an M-code, same for 6071-6079 for Sub-program calls
    Para# Sub call
    6071 O9001
    6072 O9002
    6073 O9003
    6074 O9004
    ....
    6079 O9029

    Para# Macro call
    6080 O9020
    6081 O9021
    6082 O9022
    6083 O9023
    ...
    6089 O9029

So, check that the appropriate number is in the appropriate parameter.

Yes, I've tried that, but M101 in the ladder (R6012.1) never triggers, even though M101 does run my warm up macro as specified by 6080...
