INTERFERENC CHECK RELEASE

On our MX2000ST using the upper turret we use M code M170 to allow us to machine closer to the chuck
although it says the same code for the lower turret wherever you put it in a program or using the MDI the machine just sits there with
a green light on forever

I think there must be a parameter set wrong!!

Can anybody help!!!!!!!!!!!

For the lower turret try an "M110" - Interference Check Off" and it cancels with an "M111" Interference Check On"
Also what control is on your MX? 18i?
