Daewoo Lynx?
I’m looking for a small footprint CNC lathe and a small footprint VMC for my garage.
Anyhow, I’ve come across a Daewoo Lynx that fits the size bill, but it needs new spindle bearings and to have the spindle reassembled/reinserted. It has a 10 station turret, a Fanuc 21-T control and the drives and controller and stuff in the electrical cabinet looks good. It includes a 5C taper attachment and some turret tooling.
My questions are:
-Are these solid, reliable machines?
-Good, inexpensive source for the spindle bearings (qty=2 NN 3018, qty=2 HTA 020A)?
-Manuals and parts lists and drawings?
-Someone in the Sunnyvale, CA area care to help? I can pay in beer, food and some nominal cash (I’m assuming service is expensive).
-Good service person to do the work or to help? Cost per hour?
