i see the time for the machine run 800mm and it was 24s, so the mach 3 display 1000mm/min but the axis run at 2000mm/min, i put the kernell speed at 45000hz and now display 1787mm/min and the axis run at 2000, the kernel speed should be 50000hz but don t have that option.
Same for me...
couple of posts ago I've documented my findings with the V2... many problems mostly related to probing, limits, general movement
My V2 will be sent back once the new controller has arrived.
I will use a UC300ETH from now on... lots of IO options, and direct 0-10V output for controlling a VFD

The UB1 definitely is one of the nicest boards to use with the UC300
Unfortunately, it's also one of the most expensive ones.
I will use a couple of cheaper boards connected to the 5LPG board (a DB25-1205, a ST-V2, and a C10S)
Most of these already came along with my stepper motors, the C10S was a bargain a Eb**
Hi folks, I'am new at this forum. I have purchased a NVEM motion control card. I'd like to use it for my laser engraver machine. My laser is wired to the spindle out of the controller. The motion controller ignore spindle settings at Mach3 and it's takes a long time to spin up and down so my laser doesn't work properly when I use M3 SXXX and M5 commands.
Is it possible to turn off spin up and down delays of the motion controller?
Thanks in advance.
NVEC400 controller card

can not get any thig working

Hi
I received NVEM ver1 controller and I could not run stepper motors, only DRO in Mach3 moving, but all other signals works
I encountered the same problem without answers
https://www.cnczone.com/forums/contr...ml#post1998278
Everything was done according to the instructions, so I tried everything I knew,
Note: drivers and motors work with another controller
Does anyone know anything about this, and how to solve this problem?
Help please
Best regards
hi milky could send me also the link for NVEM Driver _P (Released 23/05/2017)
appreciate milky. cheers
Hello All
I wish I had read this post more thoroughly before I purchased my NVEM. Have just spent 5 days rebuilding my cnc machine, It was well overdue after nearly 10 years of use. Thinking that the nevm would be the latest and hopefully better stepper controller.
Many grey hairs and frustration at the randomly changing inputs, outputs and drive directions. Completely rewired the machine knowing that I have had some issue at times with rf feedback. Thought I had that covered but maybe not?
The machine is running now, but I have not been able to resolve the random home/limits set up, have decided to just run with the limits with no homing.
The smoothstepper is really good when it runs, lots of power and smooth quiet operation.
I have developed a deep distrust for the selling countrymen, I purchased through DHGate, I found them deceptive and rude, I will be closing my account after I consider if the NVEM is actually going to work with Mach3?
Regards
Glad I read this have had the same issues. Ran fine for a few weeks then began to glitch. Will try re installing everything and see how I go.
Hi milky
I would very much appreciate the new dll, I have resolved all my NVEM issues and only the home / limit issue remains, If this DLL fix's that problem then NVEM may be OK?????
I'm thinking about getting one of the NVEM cards and I'm hoping that someone who has used the card could tell me whether the spindle index function works. The manual shows that there is a port labelled as Index but the example of how to connect it doesn't show it being used. Also, the Lollette site says "Nvem does not support spindle speed feedback?INDEX)" but this isn't mentioned on AliExpress. It seems odd to have a connection that is labelled as Index but state that it doesn't have this function.
Thanks for any input,
Jim
