Default Anilam 6000M losing tool table and tool changer position - HELP

I have had a Kent JM450 CNC mill for a number of years and it has run very well until recently.

If I let the mill sit, power off, for an extended period (around 30 days) when I boot it back up the tool table is gone and the tool changer loses its position (call T6 and end up with T2).

If I reenter all of the tools and manually re-index the tool changer (take the servo motor out and move the changer to the correct location) everything works great. I can shut down and reboot and everything is still there. It is only when shut down for long periods that I have a problem.

Question 1: Has anyone else had this issue and what is the fix?

Question 2: Is there any way to re-index the tool changer in software instead of manually moving it?

Any help would be very much appreciated. This is getting old fast :-(
