Hi Everyone ! I have a laguna swift 2x3 and in attempting to speed up feed rate altered the "Z" settings and cannot get the machine working correctly again. I would greatly appreciate help with this as my shops been down over a week now and orders are piling up !! Laguna customer service hasn't been helpful. THANKS !

The first thing to do will be to reverse all changes, but I guess you have done that already!

cannot get the machine working correctly
    What is not working?
    What settings did you change
Do you have a manual (link)

Hi The z movement is incredibly slow when using the touch off puck and not much faster when moving manually. It doesn't cut the depth as programmed and doesn't return to up limit when done. x,y speeds function are fine C>A>D> in controller is entered correct but when the puck is used it runs as if the top of the puck is the work surface.

This could be due to a wrong (to high) step resolution (steps/mm). If you jog 1 mm, is the distance really 1 mm?

Thanks ! Would that be the Pulse/mm under Equivalent settings ?

Yes, that could be the setting

Before you change it, note the old value!

Great to hear it is working again.

It is safe to note all settings in case of a disaster.

Looking at your machine, i expect it is already tuned at maximum performance.
