I recently ordered an Avid router, and I would prefer to use a console controller rather than a PC-based controller. I'm curious, if you've integrated this kind of controller into a machine like an Avid (or something similar), how did it work out for you, and what was your takeaway? Would you do it again?

These types of controls aren't readily available as a retail sales item, with advertised prices and so forth, except on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001309715175.html and it looks pretty decent.

I recently found this: https://www.machinetoolproducts.com/...ling-machines/ and it seems like it might be what I'm looking for, obviously depending on whether it costs a million dollars or not!

I am also aware of Masso and similar offerings, and I haven't taken them off the table yet, but I don't consider them console controllers. I'm specifically looking for physical buttons, rotary switches and a panel to mount them on. If it has a touchscreen, it would be a feature rather than the primary interface, and I would NOT want a computer mouse or computer keyboard.
