We have a Topper TMV 920 and on cold mornings when we power machine up the console comes up with (434 servo alarm : z axis detect err) And won’t allow us to reference machine. Most of the time if you power machine down and power back up it goes away but not this morning. I figured the z axis motor has an electronic brake that engages when turned off to hold z axis in place and stops it from dropping and that it needs adjusting in the motor. So if it does this then I just put a jack under the tool clamp and lift it a little to take the weight of the spindle drive then turn off and on again. This way it can’t drop. But trying that this morning I still can’t get rid of error code. Any ideas or solutions as I really need machine runnning today
