cnc jerk controller
Hi, i'm looking for an affordable CNC standalone controller with jerk (acceleration profile) adjustment. Can't find anything that doesn't require PC connection. Currently i'm using rmhv2.1 maybe there is software update that allow jerk control?

Re: cnc jerk controller
You could use Grbl, which runs on an arduino and then use a second arduino to send the g-code files to it. I had a couple arduinos set up this way and it worked well, but I ultimately decided that I had enough old laptops, netbooks and tablets laying around to run Grbl that way.
Speaking of tablets, there is an android based tablet/phone software that is out there that can control Gbrl from an old phone or tablet. using a USB otg connection or through bluetooth. I haven't tried it, but here it is.

BTW, I use Grbl on my cnc milling machine and it works really well, but has a few limitations. However, I have found that the trajectory planner works very well and provides good jerk control.
