Default HELP HITACHI SEIKI HT-23SIII Seicos NC stuck with 5 ALARMS

    PLEASE HELP,

Just purchased this used HITACHI SEIKI HT-23SIII and upon power up of the NC (SEICOS L MULTI), we got five alarms (see below) which we believe were disabling the STAND-BY button.
Here is the dilemma, if the STANDBY is not activate, we cannot do a ZERO RETURN nor use the JOG function to move the turret to reset the alarms... so how do we get out of this predicament?

Alarms on Main Screen (super-imposed over the regular screen):

    3082 PG Error (Z axis)
    3100 Servo Alarm
    3141 Axis Overrun Protection (X)
    5124 Z+ (-->) OT
    5030 NC Alarm

And under NC Screen we see:
    79530 NC Alarm
    79624 +Z Overtravel

and in red it shows 3141 Overrun Prevention (X)

    FOLLOW UP Post:
After manually turning Z axis ballscrew & X axis ballscrew, the 5124 Z+ (-->) OT error went away.

Here is what I still have on the screen now:
    3081 PG Error (X axis)
    3082 PG Error (Z axis)
    3100 Servo Alarm
    3141 Axis Overrun Protection (X)
    5030 NC Alarm

Here is our theories at the moment:

    1) The machine while was being rigged, was tilted to one side and the ballscrews allowed both axis to go over their extremes, thus the Overrun and OT alarms.

    2) Once turned by hand, the NC set the PG Errors, since there was a movement in position (manually while the machine was powered off). Does this make sense?? If it does how do I clear them?

    We still have three questions:

    1) Why when turning the X axis manually the NC did not turn off the Axis Overrun Protection (X) alarm?

    2) At what point (or how) do we turn off the PG Errors? Is this done via Parameters?

    3) When should I be able to get the STANDBY key to work and be able to move the turret using JOG keys or ZERO RETURN?

    Regards and Thank You !

Have you resolved this issue? I am currently having the same problem but it is 3142 z overrun protection.
