    Lightbulb Processing ceramics

    Hello everyone,
    This is my first post, yeah
    I ran into a rather exotic problem this week. A client of our company requested the machining of a Zirconium oxide part. He wants to modify a melting pot. All we have to do is to enlarge the hole at the bottom of the pot.
    Is there a good solution to this problem?

    That stuff is really hard; supposedly it can cut steel. When dental technicians carve implants out of it they typically use multi-flute PCD tooling. Here's a video of someone cutting a big block of it dry:
