    Default Trumpf L3030 Acceration Issue

Our 20 year old laser has done lots of cutting and its getting tired. I want to cut the acceleration down a bit as it really jerks when it goes to move and covers have come loose in the past. Thought it would be easier on the old girl if we cut the acceleration down. We had a trumpf brake that was really jerky and sometimes acted up. I went into the parameters on the brake cut the acceleration down a bit and it really smoothed things out. It was pretty obvious how to set acceleration on the brake but when i go into the laser it is not clear. If anyone knows how I would really appreciate hearing.

    Thanks
    Geoff

If its a newer trumpf ....TC_DYNAMIC_LEVEL(1) (-1) is better cut,,, less acceleration (0) is trumpf standard (1) is user programmable
This must precede it in the header TC_USERDYN(1.2,5.0) ( that is factory setting you can dial down to 1.0, 4.5 maybe if need be)
it is my belief that changing the bearings and keeping the machine properly lubed you should be able to run with factory presets)
