Default X axis belt slipping or something else? Help!!!

My X isn't engaging right away. Everything seems to be engaging except the last gear. The one on bottom that is actually running along the rail. As you can see when I first start going one direction it takes quite a bit of movement from my motor and belt before the final gear starts turning. Hope you have some thoughts on this? Thanks for looking!!

Check the pinion gear that engages with the rack, the movement is somewhere in that area, the Gear may be slipping on the shaft, the belt is not slipping that is a using timing pulleys.
