SCM pratix 48 and Bridge 5 errors
hey guys, i recently got a job at a cabinet/woodworking shop and we have two SCM CNCs. both are having problems running and id like to save the expensive service call. The Pratix seems to be having z axis problems, the machine runs but when it tries to access the tool holder, it seems to go too low and wants to bend the tool head down. is there a file or setting i can change this in or is there a sensor somewhere? i see the optical sensor that shows if there is a tool holder in position but nothing for z depth to grab the tool.
The Bridge 5 says there is no power to the machine and i cant power it on even though the switch is working(checked with a multimeter at the computer station). Is there a specific relay that handles power for this? ive checked breakers as well and reset them manually and another symptom is that the VFD isnt on, nothing is on the screen etc.
Any direction for either or both machines would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
